Services for Children and Teens
Young people of all ages can benefit from our programs and resources, which are designed with local youth in mind.
Our Services
Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) Services
We offer support for families and youth involved in or at risk of entering the court system through a Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) filing. We work with families, schools, and community partners to create a plan that addresses challenges like school refusal, running away, or behavioral issues—without going through formal court proceedings. Our goal is to connect youth and families with the right resources, build on strengths, and help everyone move forward in a positive direction.
Craft Hour
Parent-Child Craft Hour is a fun and relaxed time for families to get creative together! Join us for simple, hands-on projects that encourage connection, conversation, and creativity between parents and children. All supplies are provided—just bring your imagination and enjoy quality time making something special side by side. View related events.

School Supports
We’re here to help you and your child through important school planning and transitions. Whether it’s understanding or setting up an IEP or 504 plan, or preparing for a reentry meeting after time away from school, our school liaison can guide you every step of the way. We’ll work with you to make sure your child gets the support they need to feel welcomed, understood, and ready to succeed.
For additional information, contact our school liaison, Lycia Ebanks, at (508) 815-5111 or LEbanks@Advocates.org.
Thrive!
Offered in conjunction with our partners at We Thrive, Thrive! is a welcoming program for youth ages twenty-two and under, offering peer-led, adult-supported groups for LGBTQ+ youth. Enjoy drop-in hours, meetings, field trips, special events, and more—all in a safe, inclusive space that celebrates individuality, connection, and community. View related events.
